KITS (KTMB Integrated Ticketing System)​

Introducing new online ticketing system known as KTMB Integrated Ticketing System (KITS), aimed to increasing online ticket sales by being more efficient and secure and also to reduce congestion at the ticketing counters.

KITS is an online ticketing system that was launched by KTMB on 17th August 2020, providing registered passengers with a unique customer number (Passenger Name Record) for a faster ticket purchasing experience. Those who wish to tap into certain benefits – such as purchasing concession tickets, getting online travel updates, as well as using KTMB e-wallet to pay for their tickets – are also required to first register with KITS.

The system is powered by ‘cloud’ technology and the new system would also make online ticket purchasing more efficient and secure. Users will need to sign up with KITS in order to get a Passenger Name Record (PNR) number, which is required to purchase tickets through the new system.

Running on the KTMB Integrated Ticketing System (KITS), passengers can now purchase their tickets at our online tickets kiosks located at all KTMB station. This features enable passenger to purchase ticket using a credit and debit cards, new KTMB Wallet and other type of payment methods. This features also available in other KTMB’s ticketing channels, namely the ticketing counters as well as the KTMB website and mobile app.

Customers who are eligible for concession tickets can now get them through these upgraded self-service kiosks, ticketing counter, web and mobile apps. Prior to this, a customer merely has to register via the KIT’s app or to enjoy all the discount.
