40th ASEAN RAILWAYS CEOS’ CONFERENCE

HELD IN NAY PYI TAW, MYANMAR

(November 27 – 29, 2018)

During the CEO session, Indonesia and Malaysia proposed an initiative for better and intensive communication between ARCEO members by establishing a new tool of communication. The CEOs has discussed and supported the proposal from Malaysia to develop an ARCEO’s Portal.
To implement the mentioned above proposal, each member will appoint representative(s) in preparing the development of the ARCEO Portal. The portal is targeted to be officially launched during the 41st ARCEO Conference 2019 in Thailand.


41st ASEAN RAILWAYS CEOS’ CONFERENCE

HELD IN BANGKOK, THAILAND

(Oktober 28 – 31, 2019)

During the CEO session,  ARCEO members agreed on establishing a new tool of communication using digital approach and to achieved greater affluent society. This afford involved in a decision, based on a different needs and interests on the company and the stakeholders. The CEOs has discussed and supported the proposal from all Asean Country regarding the railways industries.
Result of the implementation which is mentioned above will be carried out, and further discussion will be made on the next 42nd ARCEO Conference.


42nd ASEAN RAILWAYS CEOS’ CONFERENCE

HELD IN DA NANG, VIETNAM

(August 22 – 25, 2022)

After a two-year break, the event provided a fresh opportunity for members to collaborate, share experiences, and map out regional recovery strategies following the COVID crisis. It also provided a platform for them to recommit to building sustainable railroads for the benefit of the entire ASEAN region (for both passenger and freight operations).
The ASEAN railway community was able to come together for two days of plenary and working group meetings (split into three, as usual: CEOs, Marketing & Operations, and Technical), as well as additional cultural and technical trips, pleasant and memorable dinners.
